Registered Clinical Counsellor
I have lived in Victoria most of my life. In 2006, I received my Bachelor of Science degree with a major in psychology from the University of Victoria. After graduating, I wanted to learn more about mental wellness and substance use issues so I then went on to earn a Mental Health and Addictions post degree diploma from Camosun College. It was upon completion of this program when I realized I wanted to become a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). While holding down a full-time job as program coordinator for the B.C. government, I set about obtaining my Master of Counselling degree. I did my internship at Citizens’ Counselling Centre, and the cases I worked on and the clients I had the privilege of meeting there re-affirmed my passion for my chosen profession.
